Due to the unsurprising nature of the modern photography and modeling industries, it’s often difficult to come across work that can easily be traced back to its’ owner based solely on aesthetics.  This is not the case as pertains to the photography of LA’s Carlos Nuñez.  Over the past couple years, he has established himself as one-of-a-kind and not only in his region but all around.

Sorry to be boring but what is it about Nunez’s work that makes it so easy to trace back to him. It looks pretty much standard to me. There is nothing particularly surprising in the composition or subject matter and there are photographers such as Guy Aroch or Jurgen Teller with an infinately more recognizable shooting style.

Well, before I get into it, I didn’t exactly compare him to anyone like Aroch and Teller. What I mean (more or less) is that he seems to have found and established himself as pertains to his art. There’s a feeling that there’s really parts of him in each portrait, at least to me. It’s no surprise when some of the world’s best-known creatives output work that can be traced to them effortlessly. It’s a whole new ballgame when that gets to be the truth about someone who’s technically still aspiring to get to such a position.
